Recruiting Professionals for Your MLM

One of my favorite trainers in the MLM industry is Todd Falcone. Todd has been in the industry for a long time. He’s a heavy hitter in his own right and has gone on to become a successful trainer as well.

One of the things I’ve learned from Todd is the notion of recruiting professionals for your MLM business.

The advantage to recruiting professionals are:

  •   Professionals usually have a wide network of contacts.
  • They are used to earning money on commission or through a business.
  • Professionals are not afraid of talking to people about business ventures.
  • They have credibility with their contacts.

One very simple, yet powerful, technique Todd teaches is to collect business cards from bulletin boards, contact information from real estate For Sale signs or various other advertisements promoting Realtors, insurance agents, mortgage brokers and the like.

You then call these people and ask them if they keep their options open for making money on the side.

About half of them will say yes and then you can get your presentation in front of them in whatever way you prefer.

This technique rocks.

Here is a short video of Todd explaining it more fully in a seminar he gave.

Was that cool or what?

OK, now that you know how to do this and you have your script, (if you didn’t write down the script, go back to the video and take care of that now) get busy and make some calls.

Let me know how this works for you in the comments below.

If you’d like more ideas on how you can build your tribe, I have a great newsletter that I think will help you out. Just enter your information in the form below and I’ll make sure you get it.

Did this article help you? If so, I’d appreciate it if you’d post a comment below and/or share this on Facebook.

After a lifetime of some successes, more near misses and even more outright failures, I find I've gained some skills and some wisdom along the way. I'm in the continuing process of developing more of the former and hopefully a little of the latter as well. I've reached a point where my primary interest is to develop an income that can support what I call a Location Optional lifestyle. I want to live where I want, how I want and when I want. A little narcissistic, I know, but there is only so much time in life and there are still many places from where I have not seen the sun rise. Fortunately, I've been blessed with a wife who feels the same way.
